My Favourite Teachers

People always ask me this and it's nice to think and look back on all the great teachers who did so well of teaching me and how patient and kind they were. I went to Jefferson Public School in Brampton. My favourite teacher would have to be Mrs. Leggatt (grade 3) and Mrs. Hoffman (kindergarten). Mrs. Leggatt was always so cheerful and so kind and full of energy when she would teach us anything. She really wanted us to learn and grow and it was nice to have a teacher who gave us her all. Mrs. Hoffman had to put up with all my crying and my shyness. She would sing us songs and play her piano and try to get through to me as much as she could. I am grateful for these teachers who really knew each student individually.

Middle school I went to Greenbriar Senior Public School in Brampton. Great school and full of wonderful teachers. My favourite teacher was Mr. Greg Lorentz. He was so interesting and loved so many things like singing opera (3 tenors), writing poems, art, and having fun. He made school so much more exciting for me and my friends Candace and Sharlene would all go down to see him all the time even after graduating. I will always be so thankful to him for being very patient and kind and doing such a great job of teaching.

Highschool I went to Chinguacousy Secondary School in Brampton. My favourite teacher would have to be Mr. Gauley (yes, he's my facebook friend). He taught english and he was a great teacher who could be funny and would could joke around with, but also who could be really firm and you wanted to do your best to make him proud. Great teacher and such a funny guy, too!

I will never forget these teachers who gave so much of themselves to teach me and many other students. Thank you for being inspiration to us!

My fav tv show!

I don't watch much tv, but I like a few shows. Once Upon a Time and The Vampire Diaries are my favourites! Emma from Once upon a time is my favourite character. My favourite character in TVD is Elena Gilbert. I am liking her character more now (with her humanity back on). I really liked the Damon and Elena story, until they ended their real-life relationship (Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev). It must be awkward to do all those kissing scenes/intimate scenes with an ex. I used to watch Gossip Girl when it was still on and Grey's Anatomy. I heard Grey's storyline has gotten really good, so I'll need to catch up on a season. I used to watch Big Bang Theory, too. I definitely need to catch up on that, too cz I've fallen behind.

My family

Well, I thought maybe some of you might want to know a little about my family. I have two brothers (Hajime and Koichi) and a sister (Mari). I am the youngest in the family. I've always been really close with my sister Mari and she's just really someone that I can talk to about anything. I really look up to her and try my best to make her proud of me.

Hajime is the eldest in the family and is married and has two sons (Kyle and Curtis). Koichi is married and has one daughter (Mai) and one son (Kiyokazu). Mari is married and has one son (Shunki) and one daughter (Aki). Hajime lives in Brampton, Ontario; which is about 2 hours away from Port Rowan. Koichi lives in Tokyo, Japan and Mari lives in Hiroshima, Japan. We try to call each other, send text messages, and skype as much as possible. Sometimes it's hard cz of the time difference, but we viber all the time and it's nice to see pictures and see how everyone is doing. I miss them very much.

Maybe in a few years when Emi is bigger we will all go visit Koichi and Mari in Japan! Daichi and Mika are really looking forward to seeing Japan! They have never gone before and they are always talking about going there! I really am looking forward to that trip! Hopefully we can save up and go!

Brampton to California to Port Rowan

I used to live in Brampton, Ontario. It was such a nice place to grow up when I was younger. The city was very small and it was a safe place with lots of trees and some farms. I was raised on Rowntree Farm when I was a baby to about three I believe. My parents worked on the farm there (dairy farm). Then my parents moved to Brampton in the "J" section and I attended Jefferson Public School and then Greenbriar Senior Public School and Chinguacousy Secondary School.

I have alot of memories from each school! My favourite teachers from Jefferson was Mrs. Leggatt and Mrs. Graham. And from Greenbriar my favourite teacher was Mr. Lorentz. I will never forget him and how he really loved teaching and helped me alot in school. In Ching I'd have to my favourite was Mr. Gauley! He was so funny and yet firm. I even danced with him at prom! ha ha!

I ended in California when I was 19 yrs old. I met Manny and that was it! I lived there for 8 yrs and it was fun. I loved being so close to disneyland, sea world, universal studios, hollywood, san diego, los angeles, etc..but, once you have children and you want to settle down more and you think about them more. You just realize that visits to these places are best, and living a more quiet life is what you need.

A little about me

Where to start? Well, I live on a small hobby farm with my husband, my parents, my three kids (Daichi, Mika, Emi) and our three dogs (Belle, Junko and Chibi). We have livestock on our farm (sheep, goats, chickens). It's always really busy and kinda tiring sometimes, but then it's really all worth it. The kids love it here and there's so much room to run around and play. I definitely couldn't imagine living in the city anymore. I like the openess and it's nice to be able to grow vegetables and crops. I like watching the tractors and combines and learning about plants and how they grow. My son loves the bugs and frogs.

We live in Port Rowan which is a really small town. You get used to the small stores and it's nice to know lots of people in town.
